DUBNOFF SCHOOL
We are so glad to start another school year. This is our 39th year serving students. We had a wonderful summer school, and students who attended did very well overall. Students went bowling, enjoyed a barbecue every week, and cooked in each class once a week. Summer school was a success.
Next Thursday, August 27, will be our monthly minimum day schedule. Students will be leaving at 12 o’clock but will be fed lunch before leaving. A reminder that the last Thursday of every month will be our minimum day.
School will be closed on Friday, 9/4 (school closure), and Monday, 9/7 for Labor Day. We will also be closed on Monday, 9/21, as a school closure day.
A reminder that on Fridays, we generally give quizzes and students should do some preparing on Thursday evenings.
Students should be bringing home point sheets daily. Please review these with your child to keep up with how they are doing both academically and behaviorally. Students earn up to $10 a week in cash on Mondays for completing work and up to $12.50 a week for their behavior (behavior grade on the point sheet). When they earn $25 for their student store (behavior), they earn a $25 gift card from a store of their choice. If you sign their point sheet and your child brings it back to their teacher, they earn a bonus of 100 points!
As always, please feel free to contact us any time if you have any questions or concerns.
