A reminder that two weeks from today, Monday, 3/31, school will be closed for Cesar Chavez Day!

¡Un recordatorio que dos semanas a partir de hoy, lunes 3/31, la escuela estará cerrada por el Día de César Chávez!

Can you believe it is almost spring!!!  Please remember to turn back your clocks before you go to bed this Saturday evening, March 9.  Students are taking tri-terms next week, 3/10-14, and report cards will be distributed and mailed home by Friday, March 21.  On our final fall report cards, which were distributed the end of January, we had 42% of our students who earned the honor roll.  We are so proud of our students and staff!!  We also had three students graduated with high school diplomas on January 31.  Two students had been with us for five years and another student for one year.  Our ceremony was heartfelt, and we are so proud of their accomplishments. 

Our next minimum day will be Thursday, March 27.  As usual, students will be dismissed at 12:00.  We will be closed for our spring break from Monday April 14 through Friday April 18.

Our students continue to make a great deal of progress.  We are so thankful that you have chosen our school for your child to attend.  We had our annual visit on Tuesday, 3/4, from LAUSD, and they were very pleased with our program as usual thanks to our very dedicated staff.  We currently work with five school districts and four charter schools and appreciate the collaborative spirit with all of them.

¿Puedes creer que es casi primavera!! Recuerde atrasar sus relojes antes de acostarse este sábado 9 de marzo por la noche. Los estudiantes tomarán tres trimestres la próxima semana, del 3/10 al 14, y las boletas de calificaciones se distribuirán y enviarán por correo a casa el viernes 21 de marzo. En nuestros boletines de calificaciones finales de otoño, que se distribuyeron a fines de enero, tuvimos un 42% de nuestros estudiantes que obtuvieron el cuadro de honor. ¡Estamos muy orgullosos de nuestros estudiantes y personal! También tuvimos tres estudiantes que se graduaron con diplomas de escuela secundaria el 31 de enero. Dos estudiantes habían estado con nosotros durante cinco años y otro estudiante durante un año. Nuestra ceremonia fue sincera y estamos muy orgullosos de sus logros.

Nuestro próximo día mínimo será el jueves 27 de marzo. Como es habitual, los estudiantes saldrán a las 12:00. Estaremos cerrados por nuestras vacaciones de primavera desde el lunes 14 de abril hasta el viernes 18 de abril.

Nuestros estudiantes continúan progresando mucho. Estamos muy agradecidos de que haya elegido nuestra escuela para que asista su hijo. Tuvimos nuestra visita anual el martes 3/4 desde LAUSD, y quedaron muy satisfechos con nuestro programa como de costumbre gracias a nuestro personal muy dedicado. Actualmente trabajamos con cinco distritos escolares y cuatro escuelas chárter y apreciamos el espíritu de colaboración con todos ellos.
